Doris Littleton James

Doris Littleton James, 89, of Huntsville, Alabama passed away January 15, 2026, in Huntsville, AL.

She was born July 10, 1936, in Chilton County, Alabama, daughter of the late Houston Littleton and the late Alice Littleton.

She was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, cherished sister, and dear friend. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.

Surviving are her loving Husband of 50 years Thomas B. James; Daughter, April (David) Jones; Grandson, Paul Sholly; Granddaughters, Mary Kathryn Jones, Lauren Jones, Hannah (Joven) Jones; Brother, James (Judy) Littleton; A host of Nieces and Nephew.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Houston & Alice Littleton; Daughter, Vanessa Sholly; Brother, Bobby Littleton.

Friends will be received Friday, January 23, 2026, from 9:00 A.M to 10:00 A.M at Martin Funeral Home in the Chapel.

Graveside services will be held Friday, January 23, 2026, at 10:30 A.M at Chilton Memorial Gardens with David Jones officiating.

Interment will be in Chilton Memorial Gardens, Clanton, Alabama.
