Dorothy D. DAVIS, 73, of Clanton died Monday, April 13, 2009 at Brookwood Medical Center, Birmingham. She was born on Tuesday, March 31, 1936 in Chilton Co., AL, Daughter of the late Will Vines and the late Hattie Bell Rutherford Vines. She was a Salesperson. Surviving are her 2 Daughters, Ms. Regena D. Giles of Clanton, AL, Mrs. Landa Culpepper of Clanton, AL; Grandson, Mr. Brandon Giles of Clanton, AL; 2 Granddaughters, Mrs. Megan Leonard of Clanton, AL, Ms. Candace Culpepper of Clanton, AL; Great-Grandson, Master Colten Leonard of Clanton, AL; 2 Sisters, Mrs. Mary Davis of Phenix City, AL, Mrs. Mavis Coggins of Phenix City, AL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Derl Davis. Friends will be received from 5-8, Tuesday, April 14, 2009 @ Liberty Hill Baptist Church. Services will be held Wednesday, April 15, 2009, at 3:00 PM. at Liberty Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Kent Dodson and Rev. Roland Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Liberty Hill Baptist Cem., Clanton, Alabama. In lieu of flowers please donate to Liberty Hill Building Fund. Martin Funeral Home directing.
