Dorothy J. Fox, 78, of Shelby died Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Hatley Health Care, Clanton. She was born on Monday, August 16, 1937 in Chilton Co., AL, Daughter of the late Foster Eugene Bean and the late Ruby Ester Gardner Bean. She was a Mail Carrier. Surviving are Daughter, Sherry Veazey (Reid) Buckner of Maplesville, AL; Son, Ronald Kirk Veazey of Raleigh, N.C.; Granddaughters, Amanda Boykin Cleckler of Maplesville, AL, Rebecca Boykin Edwards of Clanton, AL; Grandsons, Brandon Veazey of Raleigh, N.C., Kodi Minor of Atlanta, GA; 4 Great-Grandchildren; Sisters, June (Paul) Foshee and Virginia (Lloyd) Bennett. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Tommie Fox. Graveside Services were held Saturday, December 26, 2015, at 11:00 A.M. at Isabella Cemetery with Rev. Tony D. Smitherman officiating.
