Dorothy Lee Gibson, 91, of Maplesville died Monday, June 13, 2011. She was born on Wednesday, February 18, 1920 in Chilton Co., AL, Daughter of the late B.F. Rasberry and the late Annie Childress. She was a Homemaker. Surviving are her 5 Sons, Briggs (Bobbie) Gibson of Thorsby, AL, Braxton (Linda) Gibson of Jemison, AL, Erskine Gibson of Jemison, AL, Benny (Stephanie) Gibson of Clanton, AL, Timmy (Debbie) Gibson of Maplesville, AL; 2 Daughters, Sally (Ronald) Hand of Billingsley, AL, Wanda (Eddie) Lockhart of Jemison, AL; 18 Grandchildren, 29 Great-Grandchildren, 2 Great-Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Briggs W. Gibson. Friends will be received from 5-8, Wednesday, June 15, 2011 @ Macedonia Baptist Church. Services will be held Thursday, June 16, 2011, at 11:00 A.M. at Macedonia Baptist Church with Rev. David Bishop officiating. Interment will follow in Macedonia Baptist Cemetery, Maplesville, AL .
