Dorothy Mae Nelson, 88, of Thorsby died Sunday, October 27, 2013 at Hatley Health Care, Clanton. She was born on Sunday, August 16, 1925 in Georgia, Daughter of the late Charles Bossinger and the late Estelle Hasbrook Bossinger. She was a Cosmetologist. Surviving are Daughters, Linda (Milan) Hogg of Thorsby, AL, Anita E. (Mike) Brown of Jemison, AL; Sister, Melanie McMahan of Birmingham, AL; Grandsons, Frank (Cheryl) Brown of Thorsby, AL, Joel (Jennifer) Brown of Thorsby, AL; Granddaughter, Andrea (James) Gilliam of Jemison, AL; 4 Great-Grandsons, 1 Great-Granddaughter, 1 Great Great-Grandson. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Frank Eugene Nelson. Friends will be received from 10-11, Tuesday, October 29, 2013 @ Liberty Hill Baptist Church. Services will be held Tuesday, October 29, 2013, at 11:00 A.M. at Liberty Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Kent Dodson officiating. Interment will follow in Liberty Hill Baptist Cem., Clanton, Alabama.
