Dorothy Mims Smith, 70, of Spanish Fort died Friday, June 22, 2012. She was born on Monday, July 21, 1941 in Chilton Co., AL, Daughter of the late Charlie R. Mims and the late Ada Gertrude Friday Mims. She was a Secretary. Surviving are her Husband, Doug Smith; Daughter, Dawn (Byran) Brown; Son, Danny Smith; 4 Granddaughters, Sarah Smith, Rachel (Bubba) Gough, Beth Collins, Savanna Collins; Sister, Louise (Wayne) Jordan; Numerous Nieces & Nephews, Inlaws and many close friends. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Charles R. Mims & Ada F. Mims, Father & Mother-in-Law, Howard Smith & Gertrude Smith, Siblings, Sarah Brown, Kenneth Benson, Johnnie Mims & Charles Forrest Mims. Friends will be received from 6-8, Sunday, June 24, 2012 @ Martin Fuenral Home Chapel. Services will be held Monday, June 25, 2012, at 10:00 A.M. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.
