Dorothy T. (Dot) Lawrence, 85, of Clanton died Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at her residence. She was born on Saturday, May 14, 1932 in Alabama, Daughter of the late Charles E. Tucker and the late Mary Taylor Tucker. She was the Central Alabama Electric Corporation Office Manager. Surviving are Son, Rick Lawrence (Christy Cobb) of Clanton, AL; Daughter, Kim Wheeling of Clanton, AL; Grandsons, Major Scott (Christy) Gilliland, Michael Gilliland of Clanton, AL, Chad Lawrence (Miranda Yarborough) of Clanton, AL; Granddaughters, Amy (Rex) Cleckler of Clanton, AL, Lindy (Junior) Rodriguez of Clanton, AL, Katie (Matt) Legg of Birmingham, AL; Great-Grandchildren, Savannah Cleckler, Chloe Gilliland, Addie Cleckler, Noah Gilliland, Ethan Rodriguez, Emri Legg, Elijah Legg, Esther Legg; and Beverly Lawrence of Clanton, AL. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Richard Hugh Lawrence. Friends will be received from 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Thursday, June 1, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at Martin Chapel with Bro. Andy Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Chilton Memorial Gardens, Clanton, AL.
