Douglas R. Higgins, 70, of Clanton died Thursday, March 23, 2017. He was born on Wednesday, July 24, 1946 in Chilton Co., AL, Son of the late Roy F. Higgins and the late Ruth Rollins Higgins. He was a Food Stamp Supervisor. Surviving are Wife, Felecia Higgins; Son, Camron Higgins; Daughter, Cassie Higgins; Granddaughters, Makaylynn Sanders, Phoenix Sanders; Brothers, James (Dene) Higgins, Byron (Debbie) Higgins, Robert Higgins. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Roy & Ruth Higgins. Friends will be received from 10-11, Monday, March 27, 2017 @ Martin Chapel. Services will be held Monday, March 27, 2017, at 11:00 A.M. at Martin Chapel with Pastor Michael Rodrigues officiating. Interment will follow in Thorsby Memorial Cemetery, Thorsby, Alabama.
