He was born April 28, 1938 in Clanton, Alabama, son of the late Vernon Scott and the late Katie Scott. He was a Home Builder/Store Owner. Surviving are his Wife, Joyce P. Scott; Daughter, Desiree Cobb and Misi (Kevin) Caton; Son, Scotty (April) Scott; Brother, Percy Scott; Grandchildren, Devin Scott, Colton Caton, Krisi Baker, Destinee Scott, Allison White and Darren Mims; Great-Grandchildren, Hunter Scott, Cali Rose Caton and Grayson White. He was preceded in death by his Father, Vernon Scott; Mother, Katie Johnson Scott; Brother, Mickey Scott; Sister, Arrita Varner. Friends will be received Monday, November 8, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Monday, November 8, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Jeff Carroll officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Grove Methodist Cemetery, Thorsby, Alabama.
