Dwight Orvid Jones, 85, of Verbena, Alabama passed away February 19, 2024, at his residence in Verbena, Alabama.
He was born March 8, 1938, in Alabama, son of the late Lloyd Burnett and the late Elmerine Jones.
He was a Truck Driver.
Surviving are his Daughters, Teona (Bobby) Cook, Alice Jones; Son, Danny Jones; Grandsons, Jeremy (Jill) Jones, Lance (Sherrell) Sherrell, Calan (Hannah) Sherrell, Colby (Hylan) Jones; Granddaughter, Lindsey (Barry) Labovitz; 9 Great Grandchildren; A host of other family.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Lloyd Burnett; Mother, Elmerine Jones; Wife, Bonnie Jones; Son, Dewayne Jones.
Services will be held Thursday, February 22, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Chestnut Creek Baptist Cemetery with Calan Ray officiating.
Interment will follow in Chestnut Creek Baptist Cemetery, Verbena, Alabama.
Martin Funeral Home directing.
