She was born on Saturday, August 3, 1915 in Chilton Co., AL, Daughter of the late Wiley Friday and the late Nancy Hathcock Friday. She was a Homemaker. Surviving are her 2 Daughters, Gracie Kemp of Maplesville, AL, Willodean Sanders of Maplesville, AL; 4 Sons, Willie (Gail) Popwell of Carol Stream, IL, Johnny (Odean) Popwell of Clanton, AL, J.E. "Shine" (Valeda) Popwell of Thorsby, AL, George "Buddy" (Marie) Popwell of Jemison, AL; 19 Grandchildren, 24 Great-Grandchildren, 4 Great-GreatGrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Johnny Popwell; 2 Sons, James & Grady Popwell; 2 Grandchildren and 1 Great-Grandchild.. Friends will be received from 6-8, Sunday, July 19, 2009 @ Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Monday, July 20, 2009, at 3:00 PM. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Sandifer officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery, Clanton, AL. Martin Funeral Home directing.
