Early Popwell, 90, of Clanton, Alabama passed away January 14, 2020 at his residence in Clanton, Alabama He was born June 27, 1929 in Alabama, and is the son of Henry Popwell and Rosa Baker Popwell. He was an Electrician with Pemco International. Surviving are his Wife, Carolyn Popwell; Son, Timmy (Debbie) Popwell; Daughters, Debbie (Jeff) Harrell and Cathy Popwell; Brother, Marvin (Vonda) Popwell; Sister, Polly Abbott; Granddaughters, Tabatha (Steven) Stokes, Ashley Blalock and Shelley Blalock; Grandsons, J.J. Harrell, Cody (Anna) Blalock, and Blake (Jordan) Blalock; Great-Grandchildren, Reed Stokes, Josiah Lee, Joseph Lee, Kaiden Blalock, Kyleigh Blalock, Asher Blalock, Jayden Driver, Alexa Blalock, and Ariana Blalock. He was preceded in death by his Father, Henry Popwell, Mother, Rosa Baker Popwell, Grandson, Timothy Popwell, Brother, Bill Popwell, Sister, Vedie Clackler Lee, Brother, Henry "Mac" Popwell, Jr., Brother, J.W. Popwell, Brother, William Popwell, Brother, Marshall Popwell and Brother, Jim Popwell. Friends will be received Thursday, January 16, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Walnut Creek Church, Clanton, Alabama. Services will be held Friday, January 17, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at Walnut Creek Church with Tony Hughes, Stanley Carter officiating. Interment will follow in Walnut Creek Church Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama. Martin Funeral Home directing.
