Werness E. "Eddie" Edwards, 83, of Clanton died Monday, July 25, 2011. He was born on Monday, August 22, 1927 in Chilton Co., AL, Son of the late Thomas Lee Edwards and the late Arvzner Patterson Edwards. Founder and Owner of Edwards Jewelers. Surviving are his Wife, Sarah Edwards of Clanton, AL; 3 Sons, Rex (DeeDee) Edwards of Clanton, AL, Randy (Tracy) Edwards of Clanton, AL, Danny (Tammy) Edwards of Clanton, AL; Daughter, Judy (Gary) Woods of Clanton, AL; 14 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren. Friends will be received from 5-7, Wednesday, July 27, 2011 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Thursday, July 28, 2011, at 1:00 P.M. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Ralph Brannon and Rev. Matt DeBord officiating. Interment will follow in Chilton Memorial Gardens, Clanton, AL. Martin Funeral Home directing.
