Edith Dobbs Moore, 94, of Alabaster died Sunday, April 28, 2013. She was born on Saturday, July 20, 1918 in Chilton Co,. AL, Daughter of the late James Alpha Dobbs and the late Zora Mae Ray Dobbs. She was a Homemaker. Edith was a loving wife, mother, grandmother & great grandmother. Surviving are Son, Roger (Judy) Moore; Daughter, Joyce (John) Powell; Grandchildren, Frank (Melissa) Punch, Donna (Josh) Hannum, Thomas (Cindy) Moore, Dana (Shannon) Gordon, Diane (Shannon) Barrett, Haley Moore; Great-Grandchildren, Kelsey & Emma Punch, Amy, Maggie, Caroline & Olivia Hannum, Chase & Dylan Moore, Luke & Abby Gordon, Austin & Blake Barrett; Step great-grandchild, Rachael Greene. She was preceded in death by her Husband, George W. Moore. Friends will be received from 10-11, Thursday, May 2, 2013 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Thursday, May 2, 2013, at 11:00 A.M. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bruce Payton officiating. Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
