Edna Mims Hicks, 81, of Clanton died Friday, February 13, 2015. She was born on Thursday, November 16, 1933 in Chilton Co., Alabama, Daughter of the late Durwood Mims and the late Fannie Pate Mims. She was a retired Church Secretary for Liberty Hill Baptist Church. Surviving are Daughter, Larita Dennis; Son, David E. (Angela) Hicks, Jr.; Grandson, Bret (Jennifer) Dennis; 5 Granddaughters, Stevie Burgess, Jazzmine Hicks, Kaydence Hicks, Baylie Hicks, Skylen Hicks; 3 Great Granddaughter, Paislie Fish, Kennadie Dennis, Addison Dennis; Sister-in-law, Alma Caudle. She was preceded in death by: Husband, Mr. David E. Hicks, Sr.. Friends will be received from 5-8, Sunday, February 15, 2015 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Monday, February 16, 2015, at 11:00 am. at Liberty Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Don Smith, Rev. Kent Dodsen & Rev. Douglas Scott officiating.
