Edna E. SMITHERMAN, 84, of Clanton died Saturday, January 24, 2009 at Jackson Hospital , Montgomery. She was born on Tuesday, August 12, 1924 in Montgomery, AL, Daughter of the late George F. Engle and the late Ettie Matthews Engle. She was a Homemaker. Surviving are her 2 Sons, Mr. Larry Smitherman of Clanton, AL, Mr. Gary Smitherman of Orlando, FL; 2 Daughters, Mrs. Linda Jackson of Polk City, FL, Mrs. Wanda Huntsberger of Clanton, AL; 8 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren; Brother, Mr. George E. Engle of Fayette, AL. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Cecil O. Smitherman. Friends will be received from 5-8, Monday, January 26, 2009 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Tuesday, January 27, 2009, at 10:00 AM. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Donald Vanderslice and Rev. Roger Parks officiating.
