Effie Joan Johnson, 87, of Thorsby, Alabama passed away January 1, 2021 at her Residence in Thorsby, Alabama. She was born July 6, 1933 in Columbia, Missouri, daughter of the late Howard Easley and the late Flossie Easley. She was a Homemaker. Surviving are her Daughter, Kathy Johnson; Brother, Howard P. (Sharon) Easley, Jr.; Sister in Law, Linda Easley. She was preceded in death by Her Husband, Gary L. Johnson; Father, Howard Easley; Mother, Flossie Easley; Brother, Roy David Easley; Sister, Mary Gollaher. Friends will be received Tuesday, January 5, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held , January 5, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Thorsby Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Marc Hodges officiating. Interment will follow in Thorsby Memorial Cemetery, Thorsby, Alabama.
