She was born on Wednesday, September 24, 1924 in Chicago, IL, Daughter of the late Frank Eugene Wilson and the late Emily Setnicka Wilson . She was a Manager. Surviving are her 3 Sons, John Floyd Mims, Jr. of Albuquerque, NM, Jerry Wayne Mims of Northport, AL, Stanley Earl Mims of Washington, DC; Daughter, Sandra Mims Gasson of Mineral Springs, AL; 2 Granddaughters, Rachel Renee Mims of Northport, AL, Mary Elizabeth Gasson of Mineral Springs, AL; 2 Grandsons, John Thomas Gasson of Mineral Springs, AL, Samuel Lawrence Gasson of Mineral Springs, AL. She was preceded in death by her Husband, John Floyd Mims, Sr.. Friends will be received from 6-8, Wednesday, August 19, 2009 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Thursday, August 20, 2009, at 11:00AM. at Thorsby First Baptist Church with Rev. Von McQueen officiating. Interment will follow in Thorsby Memorial Gardens, Thorsby, AL.
