Eleanor Teresa Gore, 87, of Jemison died Friday, December 31, 2010 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster. She was born on Wednesday, August 29, 1923 in Pennsylvania, Daughter of the late Frank Tarantino and the late Anna Tarantino. She was a Homemaker. Surviving are her Husband, Preston L. Gore of Jemison, AL; Daughter, Jerri Green (Curtis Lucas) of Jemison, AL; 2 Grandsons, Jimmy (Marsha) Green of Jemison, AL, James (Tonya) Prendergast, New Jersey; 2 Granddaughters, Cathy (Roy) Porter of Jemison, AL, Helena Prendergast, New Jersey; 12 Great-Grandchildren, 2 Great Great-Grandchildren; 2 Sisters, Lucy Moody, Arkansas, Mary Weyland of Orlando, FL; Brother, Joseph Tarantino, Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her Daughter, Betty Jean Prendergast. Friends will be received from 5-8, Sunday, January 2, 2010 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Monday, January 3, 2011, at 10:00 A.M.. at Resurrection Catholic Church with Father Bruce Bumbarger officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, Jemison, AL.
