Eleanor Louise Blalock Martin, 85, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2016. She was born June 15, 1931 in Clanton, AL, to the late Jim and Minnie Blalock. She had 3 brothers and was a devoted daughter and sister. She married Claude Wood, Jr. in 1949 and together they had 3 wonderful sons, Ricky, Alan and Wayne. Surviving are Sons, Ricky (Jan) Wood of Gulf Shores, AL, Alan (Gail) Wood of Lake Martin, AL, Wayne (Penny) Wood of Auburn, AL; Grandchildren, Evan Wood, Robertsdale, AL, Christopher (Wendy) Wood of Valley, AL, Jonathan (Ashley) Wood of Auburn, AL, Jennifer (Doug) Price of Gulf Shores, AL, Chad, Caleb and Callie Wood, all of Auburn, AL; Great-Grandchildren, Ella, Colton, Chase, Peyton, Harper, Anderson, Blake, Brittany, Rebekkah. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Jim & Minnie Blalock; Husband, Gene Martin; Ex-Husband, Claude Wood, Jr. Memorial service will be held Wednesday, October 19, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home-Chapel, Clanton.
