Elizabeth Christine Childress, 85, of Clanton died Friday, May 3, 2013 at Hatley Health Care, Clanton. She was born on Friday, October 7, 1927 in Chilton Co., AL, Daughter of the late Grady G. Williams and the late Maude Adams Williams. She was a Sales Clerk. Surviving are Son, Bill Childress of Birmingham, AL; Daughters, Brenda Ousley of Clanton, AL, Linda Blankenship of Thorsby, AL; 5 Grandchildren, 8 Great-Grandchildren; Brothers, Ray Williams of Montgomery, AL, Marc Williams of Prattville, AL; Sister, Mary Melton of Little Rock, AR. She was preceded in death by her Husband, William C. "Billy" Childress. Friends will be received from 2-3, Monday, May 6, 2013 @ West End Baptist Church. Services will be held Monday, May 6, 2013, at 3:00 P.M. at West End Baptist Church with Rev. Daniel Wilson and Rev. Eddie Lightsey officiating.
