Elizabeth Foshee Cobern Hayes, 100, of Marietta, GA, passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at her residence. She was born August 27, 1918, in Alabama. Daughter of the late Walter E. Cobern and Bee Merritt Cobern. She was a Teacher and then an Accountant. Surviving are her Daughters, Elizabeth (Ed) Vickrey, Virginia (Rick) Blackwell, Martha (Paul) Spina; Grandchildren, Beth (Steve) Singletary, Jamie (Amy) Vickrey, Adam (Grove) Fisher, Katie (Kevin) Kraus, Sally Blackwell, Emily (Danny) Lindsey, Paul (Joy) Spina; 13 Great-Grandchildren & 2 Great, Great-grandchildren. She was Preceded in death by her Husband, Jesse J. Hayes; Parents, W.E. & Bee Cobern; & Brother, Walter Cobern. Friends will be received Friday, August 2, 2019, at Martin Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.. Services will be held Saturday, August 3, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at Maplesville Baptist Church with Rev. Ty Partin officiating. Interment will follow in Maplesville City Cemetery, Maplesville, AL.
