She was born October 10, 1943, in North Carolina, daughter of John Kew and Katherine Kew.

She was a Teacher.

Surviving are her Son, Minter (Kelly) Hayes, Son, Sam (Tammy) Hayes, Sister, Jane Kew, Grandson, Samuel Hayes, Jr., Granddaughter, Allison Hayes, Granddaughter, Madeline (Josh) McCall, Grandson, Jackson Hayes, Nephew, Jason Sullivan.

She was preceded in death by her Father, John Kendall Kew and Mother, Katherine Kew.
