Funeral services for Mattie Erlene Mims Littleton, 78, of Clanton, will be held Tuesday, November 21, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at Martin Chapel in Clanton, with Rev. Jeff Carroll and Rev. Clay Collins officiating. Friends will be received from 5-7 p.m., Monday, November 20, 2017, at Martin Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton. Martin Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Littleton, a retired peach farmer, was born in Clanton, AL on April 3, 1939, daughter of the late Doston "Bill" and Mattie Mims. She died Saturday, November 18, 2017, at her home in Clanton. Surviving relatives include brothers, Billy W. (Joyce) Mims, Charles (Vesta) Mims; special niece, Gina Mims Whatley; numerous nieces & nephews, a host of other family & friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Doston & Mattie Mims; brother, Thomas Mims; husband, Arnold Littleton; special friend, Raymond Cooedy; step-mother, Clara Mims; step-sister, Betty Joyce Mims; step-brother, Moses Mims; niece, Ann Mims.
