Surviving are his Wife, Mrs. Tommie Sue Davenport of Clanton, AL; 2 Sons, Mr. Ryan (Rita) Davenport of Clanton, AL, Mr. Kevin Davenport of Clanton, AL; 2 Daughters, Mrs. Karen (Jerry) Smitherman of Clanton, AL, Mrs. Chanda (Jeremy) Griffin of Jemison, AL; 13 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; 2 Sisters, Mrs. Minnie May Childress of Thorsby, AL, Mrs. Mary Ann Rawlings of Spanish Fort, AL; Brother, Mr. Charlie Davenport of Clanton, AL. Friends will be received from 5-8, Monday, May 10, 2010 @ Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Tuesday, May 11, 2010, at 11:00AM. at Mt. Carmel Baptist #1 with Rev. Darrell Jones and Rev. Bert Tippett officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Baptist #1 Cemetery, Thorsby, Alabama Martin Funeral Home directing.
