Ernest C. Mims, Jr., 79, of Clanton died Saturday, December 23, 2017. He was born on Thursday, November 10, 1938 in Alabama, Son of the late Ernest C. Mims, Sr. and the late Alpha Kemp Mims. He was a Firefighter. Surviving are Sons, Mark (Mary Margaret) Mims, Charles Mims, Cris (Flo) Mims; Daughters, Meg (Rocky) Jones, Chalane (Nathan) Mims; Granddaughters, Molly, Margaret, Emily Grace, Jasmine, Evelyn & Hannah; Sisters, Joan Pickering, Joyce Robinson; Special Friend, Pam Cory. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Ernest C. Sr. & Alpha Mims. Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, December 26, 2017, at 1:00 P.M. at Mt. Nebo with Ken Scharf officiating.
