Ernestine S. Moon, 73, of Calera died Monday, June 18, 2012. She was born on Saturday, October 29, 1938 in Shelby Co., AL, Daughter of the late Ernest Smith and the late Ressie DeVaughn Smith. She was a Homemaker. Surviving are her 2 Sons, David Thomas Nix, Frankie Thomas "Tom" (Sondra) Nix, Jr. of Wetumpka, AL; Sister, Nancy (Kevin) Schloss of Lapine, AL; Grandchildren, Gabriel Thomas Nix, Magdalena (Dustin) Hunter, Lisa (Nic) Oliver; Great-Grandchild, Jayden Oliver. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Leonard Moon. Friends will be received from 5-8, Wednesday, June 20, 2012 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Thursday, June 21, 2012, at 1:00 P.M. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tony Smitherman officiating. Martin Funeral Home directing.
