She was born on Tuesday, June 15, 1920 in Chilton Co., AL, Daughter of the late Oscar Allen Posey and the late Ollie Celina Warren Posey. She was a retired cashier in retail sales. Surviving are 2 Sons, Larry (Pat) Land of Panama City Beach, Florida, Roger (Joyce) Land of Jemison, AL; 7 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren, A Host of Great-Great Grandchildren; 3 Sisters, Bevie Ashmore of Jemison, AL, Bessie Tillery of Jemison, AL, Carolyn (Jimmy) Smitherman of Randolph, AL; Brother, Bob (Judy) Posey of Jemison, AL. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Oscar & Ollie Posey; Husband, Pete Land; Grandsons, Allen Land, Chris Land & Wade Waldrop. Friends will be received from 11-1, Wednesday, June 26. 2013 at Ashmore Freewill Baptist Church, Jemison, AL. Services will be held Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at 1:00 pm. at Ashmore Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Evie Megginson & Rev. Steve Johnson officiating.
