She was born on Monday, November 19, 1928 in Birmingham, AL, Daughter of the late George Washington Barnette and the late Saphronia Smith Barnette. She was a Homemaker. Surviving are Daughters, Vivian (Dan) Hearn of Birmingham, AL, Sherrie Nickell (T.L.) Johnson of Lakeland, FL; Grandchildren, Carey (Lisa) Hearn, Ken (Tina) Hearn, Stephanie Hearn, Barbara Nickell, Becky Gregory, Julie (James) Hudson, Robin Nickell; 13 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Al Burnette, Parents, George & Saphronia Barnette, All Siblings, Oral George Barnette, Lucille Edmondson, Eleanor (Madie) Hoyt, Alma Wiggins, Martha (Mot) McAbee, Daughter, Michele Elaine Cruce.
