He was born on Saturday, August 30, 1947 in Chilton Co., AL, Son of the late Wheeler Eugene Atchison and the late Goldie Earnestine Mull Atchison. He worked for the State of Alabama Road Department. Surviving are Brothers, Willard James (Myra) Atchison of Stanton, AL, Thomas John Atchison of Maplesville, AL, Vance Jackson (Loretta) Atchison of Lawley, AL; Sisters, Goldie Mae (Donald) Riffe of Maplesville, AL, Molly Mae (Jerry) Cox of Randolph, AL. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Wheeler Eugene & Goldie Earnestine Atchison, Sister, Beulah, Brother, Morris Joe Atchison, Brother, Paul J. Atchison, Sister, Jessie Smith. Friends will be received from 12-2, Saturday, May 6, 2017 @ Martin Chapel. Services will be held Saturday, May 6, 2017, at 2:00 P.M. at Martin Chapel with Rev. John Ingram officiating.
