Eugene Lawrence, 75, of Stanton died Monday, November 14, 2011 at his residence in Stanton. He was born on Thursday, June 18, 1936 in Chilton Co., Alabama, Son of the late Dennis Lawrence and the late Arie Latham Lawrence. He was a Security Guard. Surviving are 2 Daughters, Irene (Dave) Weinmeister of Ft. Collins, CO, Marlene Sue Price of Ft. Collins, CO; 2 Grandchildren, David Weinmeister, Jr. and Bobi Su Price; 2 Great-Grandchildren, Lane and Riley Weinmeister; 3 Sisters, Ella Mae Burt, Betty Faye Hurley and Alice Linsley; Brother, Steve Lawrence; Extended Family: Son-in-Law, Thomas Atchison; Grandchildren, John & Adam Atchison; Best Friend, Charles Erby Harrison. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Lawrence; Step-daughter, Sherry Atchison; Brothers, Dennis and Jerry Lawrence. Friends will be received 30 minutes prior to funeral service at the church. Services will be held Friday, November 18, 2011, at 11:00 am. at Stanton Bible Methodist Church with Bro. John Ingram officiating. Interment will follow in Ebenezer Baptist Cemetery, Stanton, AL.
