Eugene Kelly Mattingly, 92, of Verbena died Monday, June 27, 2011 at Russell Medical Center, Alexander City. He was born on Sunday, September 8, 1918 in Springfield, KY, Son of the late George Alfred Mattingly and the late Kathleen Campbell Mattingly. He was a Manager. Surviving are 2 Sons, George K. (Undyne) Mattingly of Verbena, AL, John Alfred (Barbara) Mattingly of Melbourne, FL; Grandsons, David (Greta), Paul (Cindy), John (Laura), Scott (Marie) Mattingly; Great-Grandson, Curtis Mattingly. Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, June 29, 2011, at 11:00 A.M. at Mt. Creek Cemetery with officiating. No flowers, donations to Mt. Creek Baptist Church, Marbury, AL.
