Eugene SMITH, 77, of Clanton died Monday, February 22, 2010 at his residence. He was born on Sunday, February 12, 1933 in Chilton Co., Alabama, Son of the late Albert Smith and the late Lottie Bell Minor Smith. He was a Crew Leader. Surviving are his Wife, Mrs. Juanita Smith of Clanton, AL; Daughter, Mrs. Mona (Butch) Pike of Jemison, AL; Son, Mr. Jeff Smith of Clanton, AL; 3 Granddaughters, Ms. Jessica Pike, Kentucky, Ms. Courtney Smith of Clanton, AL, Ms. Heather Smith of Clanton, AL; Brother, Mr. Carl (Joyce) Smith of Selma, AL; 2 Sisters, Mrs. Mary Nell (Arthur) Coodey of Clanton, AL, Mrs. Elaine Hayes of Billingsley, AL. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Albert & Lottie Bell Smith and Sister, Alma Kynard. Friends will be received from 5-7, Wednesday, February 24, 2010 @ Samaria Baptist Church. Services will be held Thursday, February 25, 2010, at 11:00am. at Samaria Baptist Church with Rev. Rev. Wayne Hughes, Rev. Charles Brooks and Rev. O'Neal Cleckler officiating. Interment will follow in Samaria Baptist Cemetery, Clanton, AL . Martin Funeral Home directing.
