Evelyn Delean Cleckler, 81, of Clanton died Thursday, July 26, 2012 at Chilton Medical Center, Clanton. She was born on Wednesday, January 28, 1931 in Chilton Co., AL, Daughter of the late Horace Mims and the late Ella Cleckler Mims. Surviving are her 2 Daughters, Brenda (Jack) Hucks of Clanton, AL, Janice (Ray) Thompson of Jemison, AL; Grandchildren, Bill & Ross Thompson, Russell Hucks, Regina Stroud; 10 Great-Grandchildren; 2 Sisters, Eufula Smith, Irene Lures. She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton H. Cleckler. Friends will be received from 5-8, Friday, July 27, 2012 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Saturday, July 28, 2012, at 1:00 P.M. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gerald Stamps and Rev. Oneal Cleckler officiating.
