Evelyn Lecroy Veazey

Evelyn LeCroy VEAZEY, 87, of Birmingham died Wednesday, August 27, 2008. She was born Coosa Co., Alabama, Daughter of the late Arthur J. LeCroy and the late Amye Casey LeCroy. She was an active church member throughout her life, serving in many leadership capacities, including being a Sunday school teacher and choir member into her seventies. She was currently a member of the First Baptist Church of Pelham. Surviving are her 2 Sons, Randall (Martha) Veazey of Birmingham, AL, Ken (Diana) Veazey of Virginia Beach, VA; 2 , 6 Grandchildren, 6 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband R.C. Veazey. Friends will be received from 6-8, Friday, August 29, 2008 @ Martin Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held Saturday, August 30, 2008, at 10:00 am. at Mulberry Baptist Cemetery, Maplesville, Alabama, with Ken & Diana Veazey officiating. Martin Funeral Home directing.
