She was born on Wednesday, March 20, 1929 in Alabama, Daughter of the late Calvin Monroe Smith and the late Lillie Posey Smith. She was a School Bus Driver at Jemison from 1966 to 1981. Surviving are 2 Daughters, Sue (Dewayne) Thornhill of Randolph, AL, Nancy (Lonnie) Gothard of Randolph, AL; 5 Sons, Bobby (Sue) Pate of Leeds, AL, Carey G. (Angie) Pate of Cornelia, GA, Coy J. Pate of Randolph, AL, Ted (Tracie) Pate of Calera, AL, David (Melinda) Pate of Randolph, AL; 21 Grandchildren, 24 Great-Grandchildren; 2 Sisters, Mary Francis Middleton of Fayetteville, NC, Elder Mae Foshee of Clanton, AL; Brother, Curtis Oneal Smith of Randolph, AL. Friends will be received from 5-8, Thursday, October 21, 2010 @ Mars Hill Baptist Church. Services will be held Friday, October 22, 2010, at 11:00 A.M.. at Mars Hill Baptist Church with Rev.
