Flora "Jonnie" T. GORE, 90, of Clanton. Devoted loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend passed away Wednesday, August 19th, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Gore, parents, Ida and John Thornton, son, Jimmy Ray Gore, grandson, Jamey Gore, great-grandson, Christopher Weathers, sister, Elsie Glenn and brother, Benjamin Thornton. She is survived by her daughters, Mrs. Mary Joyce Gilliland (Jerry) of Clanton, AL, Mrs. Shirley Green (Jerry) of Clanton, AL; son, Mr. Douglas Gore (Pam) of Clanton, AL; daughter-in-Law, Mrs. Jane Gore of Clanton, AL; 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, A number of nieces & nephews. Friends will be received from 5-8, Friday, August 21, 2009 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Saturday, August 22, 2009, at 11:00 AM. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doug Powell, Rev. Mark Seales and Rev. Tony Hughes officiating. Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton, AL 35045. Martin Funeral Home directing.
