Floyd Allen Collins, 75, of Clanton died Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster. He was born on Sunday, October 28, 1934 in Chilton Co., AL, Son of the late W.A. Collins, Sr. and the late Alta Hand Collins. He was a Major Construction Supervisor. Surviving are his Wife, Margaret Kemp Collins of Clanton, AL; Daughter, Cheryl Diane Collins; Step-daughter, Jamie Owen Hilyer; Step-son, Tom C. Owen; 4 Grandchildren, 2 Great-Grandchildren; 2 Brothers, James Ervin (Priscilla) Collins, Royce (Jennifer) Collins; 4 Sisters, Clarice Collins Moss, Bennie (Sam ) Collins, Jean (Randall ) Price, Deborah (Dana) Robinson. He was preceded in death by his Brother, W.A. Collins, Jr.; Sister, Lula Mae Hashagen; Sister, Helen C.Jones. Friends will be received from 12-2, Friday, September 17, 2010 @ West End Baptist Church.
