Floyd Marshall Giles, 86, of Clanton, Alabama passed away August 10, 2026, at his residence.

He was born September 14, 1939, in Clanton, Alabama, son of the late Floyd Giles and the late Destie Giles.

He was a Logging Contractor.Daughters, Connie Bolton Bainbridge, Susan Bennett (Craig); Daughter-in-law; Linda Giles; Brother, Lamar Giles (Audrey) Granddaughters, Marsha Harris (Jamie), Ashton-White (Jason); Grandsons, John Bolton, Jarrod Giles (Katie), Hunter Bennett (Emily), Heath Bennett (Gracie), Harrison Bennett (Bree), Rodney Thornton (Sabrina); Great grandchildren, Kallen Dejarnett (Xavier), Kamber Harris, Caroline Thornton, Isla Cate Thornton, Ella White, Lucy White, Adeline Giles, Harper-Lynn Bennett, Madelyn Degerstrom, Kate Degerstrom, Carson Bennett and one Great, Great Grandchild, Kai Trentman. A host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his Wife, Barbara Foshee Giles, Parents, Floyd C. Giles and Destie Littleton Giles, Son, Jeffrey Wayne Giles, Sisters, Pauline Billingsley and Evelyn Green.

Funeral service will be on Sunday, August 16, 2026 at 2:30 p.m. at Mt. Springs Independent Church with Pastor Clay Collins.

Interment will follow in Mt. Springs Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Sunday, August 16, 2026 from 1:30p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at Mt. Springs Independent Church.
