Floyd Porter

Floyd  Porter, 93, of Clanton, Alabama passed away June 23, 2025, at Russell Medical Center in Alexander City, AL.

He was born November 23, 1931, in Alabama, son of the late William Porter and the late Lillie Porter.

He was a Mechanic for McKinnon Motors.

Surviving are his Son, Ronnie (Mary) Porter; Grandsons, Jason (Martha) Porter, Justin (Candy) Porter; Great-Granddaughters, Anna Porter, Allie Porter; Great-Grandson, Robert (Chloe) Cofer; 4 Sisters and 1 Brother.

He was preceded in death by his Wife, Rita Sue Porter; Father, William Edgar Porter; Mother, Lillie Mae Porter; Brother, John Edgar Porter.

Friends will be received Thursday, June 26, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Thursday, June 26, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Justin Nelson and Jim Pitts officiating.

Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, in Clanton, Alabama.
