Floyd M. Spain, 86, of Jemison, Alabama passed away May 28, 2026, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

He was born January 10, 1940, in Springfield, Tennessee, son of the late Robert Spain and the late Violet Spain.

Floyd was a devoted family man that loved his family more than anything. He spent the best 63 years of his life married to his wife Margaret. He was no stranger to hard work. Floyd was a diesel mechanic for 40 years and spent countless hours working in his yard.

Surviving are his Son, Randy (Lil) Spain; Daughter, Pamela Spain; Son, Lloyd Spain; Daughter, Tina Spain; Grandchildren, Steven Spain, Anthony Nikki) Spain, Angela (Devin) Strum, Tiffany (Jay) Roberson, Stacy (Ty) Higginbotham, Branden (Destiny) Cauldill, Devin Spain, Tayran Fay, Ember Spain; Great-Grandchildren, Brisden Higginbotham, Ayden Higginbotham, Imogen Roberson, Hank Roberson, Harper Cauldill, Halen Cauldill, Baker Cauldill, Liam Strum.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Robert & Violet Spain; Wife, Margaret Spain; Sisters, Becky Ward, Polly Fitzsimons; Brothers, James Spain, Ronnie Spain.  

Friends will be received Monday, June 1, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm at Martin Funeral Home in Parlor B. 

Graveside services will be held , June 1, 2026, at 2:00 pm. at Martin Memorial Cemetery.

Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
