Frances Conway Clackler

Frances Conway Clackler, born December 5, 1921 to Francis and Maude Bratton Conway, went to her Heavenly home on July 19, 2016 surrounded by her family. She is survived by her daughter, Anita (Jimmy) Griffin, Grandchildren, Debbie (Bob) Clark, Brenda (Dr. Robert) Superko, Mike (Laura) Clackler, Donna (Tommy) Vines, Vikki Griffin, Kim (EJ) Obregon, Leslie Clackler. Great-Grandchildren, Derrell & Brandon Clark, Daniel & Jason Garrett, Christopher Lamon, Amanda Clackler, Kristen (Clint) Wyatt, Jessica Vines, Griffin & Brynlee Davis, Juan, Javier, Leticia, & Tristan Obregon, and Sarah Hubbard. Great-Great-grandchild, Lily Clackler, Brother, Jerry Conway. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews along with her special caregiver, Gina Cunningham. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Clydie M. Clackler and her sons, Fred and Richard Clackler. She was raised in the Union Grove community with eight siblings. She worked for the USDA for over 30 years before retiring. She was the oldest living member of Maple Springs Baptist Church where she served as the Ladies Sunday School teacher for many years. She enjoyed reading, working puzzle books and spending time with her family. She was affectionately called Mama, Grandma Frances, Memaw and Mamaw by those who loved her. Her sweet smile, loving eyes and gentle spirit will be missed by all who knew her. How lucky we are to have had her for so many years and rejoice that she is now waking by the water with Jesus. Friends will be received from 1:30-3:00 p.m., Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Maple Springs Baptist Church. Services will be held Saturday, July 23, 2016, at 3:00 p.m. at Maple Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Johnny Glascow officiating.
