Frances H. McPherson, 85, of Birmingham died Tuesday, January 14, 2014 in Birmingham. She was born on Friday, April 20, 1928 in Chilton County, Alabama, Daughter of the late J. C. Hayes and the late Lera Headley Hayes. She was a Homemaker. Surviving are 2 Daughters, Rita M. (Joseph) Johnson of Birmingham, AL & Rebecca (Ronald) Johnston of Port Orange, FL; 2 Sons, Richard H. (Janet) McPherson of Birmingham, AL & Randy (Toni) McPherson of Satsuma, AL; 6 Grandchildren & 9 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh McPherson. Services will be held Friday, January 17, 2014, at 1:00 pm. at Martin Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Smitherman officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Methodist Cemetery, Clanton, AL.
