Frank Garland Childress, 89, of Jemison died Sunday, December 26, 2010. He was born on Wednesday, October 26, 1921 in Texas, Son of the late Rufus G. Childress and the late Mae Hart Childress. He was a Field Deputy with State of Alabama Tax Division. Surviving are his 2 Daughters, Julia C. (Jerry) Brown of Brewton, AL, Patricia (James) Childress-Jones of Thorsby, AL; Son, Gerald L. (Barbara) Childress of Fayette, AL; 3 Grandchildren, Michelle C. (Mike) Stephens, Betty C. (Jerry) Eason, Ashley O. (Jason) McGhee; 7 Great-Grandchildren; Sister, Mary C. Page of Onley, TX. He was preceded in death by his 1st Wife, Betty McMillian Childress; 2nd Wife, Nolvis Rasberry Childress; Grandson, Gerald L. (Bubba) Childress. Friends will be received from 10-11, Wednesday, December 29, 2010 @ Jemison First Baptist. Services will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2010, at 11:00 A.M.. at Jemison First Baptist Church with Rev.
