He was born on Saturday, December 1, 1923 in Chilton Co., AL, Son of the late John Vestor Floyd Rogers and the late Cledy Samons Rogers. He was a Welder. Surviving are his Sister, Sandra Ellison of Clearwater, FL; Brother-in-Law, Jozef Brzostowski of Clearwater, FL; Nephew, Mike Robinson of Clearwater, FL; Niece, Teresa (Tony) Martin of Brandon, MS; Grand Nephew, Jeremy (Kathleen) Martin of Baker City, OR; Grand Niece, Amy (Stone) Thames of Brandon, MS; Special Cousin, Mary Julia Hall of Jemison, AL. Preceeded in death by his Wife, Cleo A. Rogers. Friends will be received from 10-11, Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Saturday, May 3, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jack Drinkwater officiating. Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton, AL 35045.
