Frankie Nell Carter, 87, of Thorsby died Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Shelby Ridge, Alabaster. She was born on Sunday, March 4, 1928 in Jefferson Co., AL, Daughter of the late John Thomas and the late Margie Mote Thomas. She was a Homemaker. Surviving are Son, Thomas Ray (Donna) Carter of Thorsby, AL; 4 Grandchildren, 9 Great-Grandchildren; Daughter-in-Law, Fredericka Carter. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Gerald Carter, Son, Jerry Henry Carter and Brothers, Floyd (Red), Roy & Wallace Thomas. Friends will be received from 1-2, Saturday, March 21, 2015 @ Thorsby First Baptist Church. Services will be held Saturday, March 21, 2015, at 2:00 P.M. at Thorsby First Baptist Church with Rev. Pat McFaden officiating. Interment will follow in Thorsby Memorial Cemetery, Thorsby, Alabama. In lieu of flowers you may make donations to Thorsby First Baptist Church.
