Frankie Lane Hilyer, 65, of Jemison died Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster. He was born on Saturday, March 10, 1951 in Chilton Co., AL, Son of the late Maddison Davis Hilyer and the late Voncile Jackson Hilyer. He was a Supervisor. Surviving are his Wife, Mrs. Wanda Hilyer of Jemison, AL; Daughters, Mrs. Dawn (Charlie) Thompson, Mrs. April (Chris) Stokes, Mrs. Jessica (Brad) Baker; Son, Mr. Scott (Kelly) Glaze; 8 Grandchildren; Sister-in-Law, Mrs. Linda Sue Hilyer. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Maddison & Voncile Hilyer; Brothers, Earl and Ralph Hilyer. Friends will be received from 5-7 p.m., Monday, September 12, 2016 at Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Tuesday, September 13, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. at Union Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in Union Grove Baptist Cemetery, Jemison, AL.
