Fred Collins Blackmon, 87, of Clanton died Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at Brookwood Medical Center, Birmingham. He was born on Sunday, December 16, 1923 in Alabama, Son of the late Timothy Edward Blackmon and the late Arsula Collins Blackmon. He was a Professor. Surviving are his Wife, Charlotte D. Blackmon of Clanton, AL; Daughter, Mary Collins Blackmon of Austin, TX; 3 Grandchildren, Marshal Erin (Julia) Emerson of Denver, CO, Adrienne LaCoste Emerson (Shawn) of Pensacola, FL, Jake Devon (Kristen) Emerson of Tampa, FL; 4 Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Daughter, Charlotte Blackmon Emerson and Brother, Timothy Edward Blackmon, Jr.. Friends will be received from 1-2, Sunday, December 18, 2011 @ Trinity Episcopal Church. Services will be held Sunday, December 18, 2011, at 2:00 P.M. at Trinity Episcopal Church with Rev.
