He was born on Thursday, October 2, 1930 in Chilton Co., Alabama, Son of the late Johnnie Cyrus Hayes and the late Lera Lee Headley Hayes. He was a Farmer. Surviving are his 2 Sons, David L. (Wanda F.) Hayes of Jemison, AL, Daniel (Lisa) Hayes of Clanton, AL; Daughter, Deborah (Larry) Martin of Trussville, AL; 4 Grandchildren, David McKay Hayes of Jemison, AL, Marlee Hayes of Jemison, AL, Danielle Hayes of Clanton, AL, Terry Hayes of Clanton, AL; Sister, Frances McPherson of Birmingham, AL. He was preceded in death by his Wife, Marlene Wright Hayes. Friends will be received from 6-8, Saturday, November 8, 2008 @ Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Sunday, November 9, 2008, at 2:30PM. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. J. Aaron Ellison officiating.
