Freddie C. BROWN, 88, of Clanton died Friday, January 29, 2010 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster. She was born on Wednesday, March 16, 1921 in Alabama, Daughter of the late William J. Cox and the late Birdie May Chapman Cox. She was a Seamstress. Surviving are her Son, Aubrey (Jane) Brown of Clanton, AL; 2 Daughters, Barbara (C.M.) Stokes of Clanton, AL, Peggy (J.B.) Franklin of McCalla, AL; 3 Granddaughters, Linda Glasscock, Crystal Ousley, Sandy Stokes; 3 Grandsons, Timothy Wayne Brown, Byron Franklin, Jason Stokes; Great-Grandson, Dallas Ousley; Great-Granddaughter, Kaitlyn Franklin; Sister, Sara M. Wagner. She was preceded in death by her Brother, Willard Aubrey Cox. Friends will be received from 5-8, Sunday, January 31, 2010 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Monday, February 1, 2010, at 1:00 P.M.. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Samaria Baptist, Clanton, Alabama. Martin Funeral Home directing.
